WORDCOLOUR

Wordcolour is a UK-based Producer, Composer and prolific Sound Design artist. They have a diverse back catalogue ranging from peak-time effervescent club tunes to more ambient and experimental explorations. To date, they have released music on leading electronic labels including Barcelona’s Lapsus Records, Pressure Dome and Yuku. Wordcolour now signed to the Fabric-affiliated label Houndstooth, released their debut LP ‘The trees were buzzing, and the grass’ in 2022, followed up by their "Ratios" series of 2-trackers in ‘24. These EPs see Wordcolour exploring microtonality and polyrhythms, resulting in 3 EP’s of psychedelic boundary-pushing club music. As a composer, Wordcolour has created original sound design for Mercedes and Google, a frequent collaborator of visual artist Andrea Khora, their work has been exhibited in the KV Institute of Contemporary Art in Berlin, and Kunsthal Charlottenborg in Denmark.
